A Legitimate Home Business Opportunity

Like many Affiliate Marketers I have spent countless hours scouring the Internet looking for the perfect Affiliate Marketing Opportunity. But, rarely do I find something with significant potential for long term wealth.
Although I’ve had some good success selling information products etc, I also came to the conclusion this is not where the big money is! Why? Because, it takes enormous leverage to make good money this way (hiring low cost labor etc), simply because the commission on an individual sale is so low. Unless you do the right thing and build your own list you are not going to see any more sales from the same customer.
You have to be driving substantial traffic to your offer to get the sales you want and/or the sign ups you need.
….This is where having a little passion about the niche you are selling in, is an advantage. To maintain a decent list you need a good newsletter. If all you do is try and sell to them they will soon opt out if the information you give them lacks substance. Even more work to keep your head above water..
No! Long term this is not the solution for most people.
Much better to get involved in a ‘high value‘ subscription based opportunity. And, I’m not talking about some crazy matrix system (without a solid product) where only the originator and a few special friends make a killing – eventually burning out through attrition. Rather, something designed to last with a unique and exclusive high value product that fills an essential gap in the market. Supported by a system that anyone can copy to build a successful business.
This is an important point. Most people fail in this business because they don’t follow a system and they don’t work it on a consistent basis. When you find the right system and work it on a regular basis you inevitably get results. Assuming, of course, the system is backed up by an equally great product!
If the system then holds your hand for each step of the journey and at the same time takes the pain out of the selling process the only point of possible failure is driving the right kind of traffic to the offer.
However, finding a system like this is not so easy. Finding something legitimate is even harder!
There are so many opportunities and systems on the Internet to choose from but very few that have been built to last. People soon tire of being billed every month for an overpriced product when there is an equivalent product on sale, a third of the price in the local mall. It takes something really special to attract and keep a loyal subscriber base. There’s nothing more demoralizing than losing members quicker than you enrol them. And, this so easily happens in an MLM style system where people are able to join for a fraction of the normal cost and test the waters before they truly commit.
A good system would never allow most of these people to join in the first place. All they are looking for is a prime downline placement and if things don’t work out they’re gone. The knock on effect of this can be frightening for someone trying to build a solid business. This is why very few of these opportunities survive, the people joining them are just not right for the business and/or have no intention of actually using the product!
You may or may not agree with the above but I for one want the following questions answered before I recommend an opportunity to anyone else..
1. Does the system filter tyre kickers?
2. Can the system be easily duplicated?
3. Is the product unique, better still, exclusive to the opportunity?
4. Does the product provide exceptional value to the customer?
5. Is top quality training provided?
6. Regardless of join date can a substantial income be achieved?
It’s rare all these questions can be answered completely to my satisfaction but when they are I know I’ve struck gold.
